Mumbai: Most Baby-Friendly Private Club

By now you’ve understood that outdoor public options in India are limited. If you are fortunate enough to have access to one of Bombay’s many clubs, choose the Breach Candy (with its pro-foreigner leanings) over others for the most baby-friendly atmosphere. For one, it’s got 4 pools, two of which are exclusively for under 5′s. This means safe swimming and no dirty looks from older people trying to get in a serious swim after work. The food options are varied (fish fingers, anyone?) and the seating area is open and unrestricted, which means that baby can run around sans diaper and you won’t look like an uncouth mother. The playground outside has been redone and is also quite fabulous!

Other favorites like the Willingdon and Bombay Gymkhana have great facilities for older kids, but tend to be a little more uptight about where babies can hang out and how they behave. Therefore the vote for the BCC!
