Sydney: Yummy Mummies Pole Dancing

Sydney: Yummy Mummies Pole Dancing

Hanging at the Pole dancing centerNow there’s something you don’t see every day! If you are planning to head to the Westfield at Bondi Junction for the day, make it a Thursday and pop into The Pole Dance Academy for a Mums ‘n’ Bubs pole dancing class at 11 am.

It’s a class for ladies of all levels and babies of all ages can participate (see Karam getting into it below), or just hang out watching mummy do aerial splits and “hello boys” (a move where you lean off your pole and open your legs out to the audience. Instructor Michelle demonstrates below).

Don't try this at home, kidsClasses are a bit pricey (AUD 29 for a drop-in), but it’s totally worth it for the experience, or just to say you took your baby to a pole dancing class!

Beware that the class is up a flight of stairs but the girls are more than willing to give you a hand up, or just ditch the pram.

Making friends while mummy shimmies

If you need inspiration to get out of “mummy” mode into your old sexy self, there ain’t no better way to do it!
