dubrov12Dubrovnik is the “Pearl of the Adriatic”. Not a mainstream tourist destination, this charming town and capital of Croatia is certainly a popular summer destination with Europeans. That’s what gives it its warm and festive feel!

Getting to Dubrovnik:

Dubrovnik is best accessed by plane or by ferry. The closest train stops two hours away.

How Kid-Friendly is Dubrovnik?

The views are spectacular and the food, Mediterranean and fresh. We loved spending long summer evenings dining in the plazas while dozens of kids ran around, chasing birds and playing in the fountains.
