Prague: Upscale and Kid-Friendly Pravda Restaurant

Prague: Upscale and Kid-Friendly Pravda Restaurant

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERAAs adults with young children, upscale restaurants are usually out of bounds because white linens are just so tempting for the little critters to mess up.

In Prague, however, we found Pravda, with style and sophistication and a welcoming attitude towards kids and adults alike. We were so there!

We discovered it on out way down Pařížská, the beautiful Paris-esque street and were drawn in by the old building and the diverse menu. Everything we ordered was amazing from the chicken spring rolls to the traditional Czech goulash and the duck leg. They don’t have a kids menu ( but they have a high chair) so Karam had a grilled salmon which was also exquisite. The service was fantastic – our waiter was friendly, informative and honest (he told us not to have the burger as it was nothing special but suggested some of the items we ordered instead).

If you are looking to treat yourself in a restaurant that doesn’t turn it’s nose up at kids, Pravda is the place to go to in Prague.

Note: Expensive meal in a city where meals can be quite reasonable, but totally worth it!
