Scotland

Scotland

traveling to scotland with kids Scotland is part of the United Kingdom and known for its expansive landscapes, its role as an industrial powerhouse in the 18th century, and of course, Brave Heart! But Scotland holds more appeal for the kids than just the loch ness monster and Momaboard will tell you all about it!

Getting to Scotland

Glasgow is the nation’s largest city but Edinburgh typically holds more appeal for tourists, holding much cultural and historical significance. Until recently, there weren’t many direct international flights into Scotland, so the best bet was to fly into London and cross over. Scotland has the same visa requirements as the rest of the United Kingdom which makes it a bit easier. You can now fly directly into Scotland from many European cities as well as others like New York and Las Vegas. If you within the UK it is possible to get to Scotland via boat, bus or train as well.
