Rio’s closest international airport is Galeão – Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport (better known as Galeão International Airport). You can get a direct flight from New York, Miami, Houston and other major cities in the US, as well as from Paris, Madrid, London and Frankfurt in Europe.
