Travel with kids is tough enough as it is. With this amazing family travel assistance package, you’ll get a helping hand that will handle all the little details of your trip, from take off to landing!

This package was exclusively designed by Cranky Concierge and Momaboard with family travelers in mind and includes the following services:

Flight Planning

• We’ll use our volumes of random airline knowledge to find the best flights for you. We can also now handle the bookings for you directly.
• We’ll present you with a range of options with pros and cons for each. After you’re booked, send any air travel questions you have to us and we’ll find the answers so you’re ready to fly.
• We’ll find the lowest fares, including searches for child and infant fares if available
• We’ll suggest the best routings for avoiding delays and complicated connections based on your timing preferences (eg. Avoiding night flights, flying at nap times, etc)
• We’ll recommend the best seating configuration given your family size and ages (including bassinets)
• We’ll explain what entertainment and meal options (infant, toddler, child) are available
• We’ll make your booking for you, or simply tell you where you can book if you prefer
• We’ll answer specific questions about baggage allowances, rules on strollers, car seats, breast milk, etc.

Flight Monitoring

Think of us as your air travel guardian. We’ll keep an eye on your flights so you don’t have to worry about them. If anything looks like it won’t run as planned, we’ll let you know.

• We’ll watch your flight for delays as they develop (or hopefully don’t)
• We’ll send you a day of travel email with weather, delay info, and other advice
• We conduct weather monitoring to look for potential delays
• We watch for FAA airport status changes for airport-specific delays
• We track your airplane earlier in the day to make sure it’s running on time
• We prepare alternate flight options before there’s even a problem, just in case you need it
• We Inform loved ones and/or colleagues about your flight status

Delay & Cancellation Assistance

If you do run into delays, cancellations, or misconnections, we’ll be on the case. We’ll have potential alternatives ready to go faster than you can scream at an undeserving gate agent.

• We research available alternative flight options and arrange for child-friendly services
• We put together connections based on sleep and nap schedules
• We check car rental rates and availability of car seats at your alternate airport
• We look for child-compatible ground transport alternatives if we can’t find a flight
• We find hotels and restaurants for stranded families if all else fails

Post-Trip Dispute Assistance

Just because your trip is over doesn’t mean we’re done with you. If things went wrong, you probably want the airline to make things right. We can help you get what you deserve.

• Research your entitlement in airline’s contract of carriage for canceled, delayed or redirected flights
• Claim compensation for damaged baggage, strollers, car seats or other checked items
• Assist in writing the communication for maximum compensation or for complaints of inadequate customer service for families
