Ditch the Travel System for Travel

Travel systems ( prams that come with several interchangeable attachments that can be used in the car and for walking) are useful when you are staying in one place. For travel, we highly recommend trading in your bulky,overpriced system for a lightweight, more economical stroller. We bought the Maclaren Quest and on my journey from Sydney to Singapore truly appreciated the difference:

* Lighter to push
* While it doesn’t go flat, it reclines enough for your baby to have a reasonable nap
* Lighter to carry and lift
* Easier to fold during security and at the gate
* Doesn’t take up much room in the car
* Has a decent amount of space in the storage carriage below and handles to hang your bags on
* Comes with a sunshade and rain guard
* Fewer pieces so lower risk of damage or loss in transit
* Significantly cheaper

Totally upped the ante on our travel preparedness with this move!
