About Singapore, Singapore :

Once known as sterile and strict, Singapore is now one of the most exciting and kid-friendly places on the planet with tons of activities for the family, and high standards for safety and cleanliness. A top travel destination for families around the world.

What do you love most about living in Singapore?

Singapore feels like the center of the world. There are people here from all over the planet and culturally it has the best of both the East and the West. We celebrate everything from Christmas to Diwali to Chinese New Year, which means that kids are truly raised in a multicultural environment.

What’s one Singapore-ism/cultural quirk?

Every sentence is punctuated with “La”: Ok, la!

Why is traveling important for a family?

It’s how my family unwinds and bonds. When we travel, we are all pulled away from our everyday routines and enjoy the common experience of learning and immersing ourselves in a different culture.

What is the hardest thing about traveling with kids?

I have tweens – keeping them interested is hard!

What’s your favorite family travel destination in the world?

The Maldives,  by far!

What’s on your travel wish list?

Machu Picchu

What’s one thing you do on every trip that makes traveling with kids easier?

My kids are old enough that I don’t have logistical issues any more. I get them involved in the planning, they choose restaurants and activities so everyone is vested and excited about the trip!
