4 Awesome Kid-Friendly Vacations You Haven’t Thought About Yet

Some people believe that once you’ve had children, traveling becomes impossible. No longer do you have the freedom to explore, and maybe that is partly true – but you do have to look after your children and put them first. However, there are many locations available to parents which are kid-friendly but also ideal for adults. There’s no reason why you can’t pack your bags and explore – you just have to plan, research and look for the best of both worlds. Here are the 4 best kid-friendly vacations the whole family will enjoy.

Lapland, Finland:

Make sure to wrap up warm and head to the snowy depths of Finland for your next family excursion. Lapland is magical, and although it can be fair and cold, it’s worthwhile. Your children will always remember the time you took them to a real-life winter wonderland, and if you plan your trip right, you could all witness the Northern Lights. They’ll be in awe as they watch the blue, green and pinks dance across the sky! Other activities the whole family can
experience are sledding, snowmobiles and spotting wildlife on a snow safari. Also, check out the reindeer farms!

Utah, America:

For those who would like to stay close to home, visiting a nearby State could be all it takes when finding the perfect family vacation. Many families may immediately think of New York or California – however, Utah has a lot to offer. Visit the Bryce Canyon National Park, and explore the area on horseback or alternatively pack your hiking shoes and take to the Rim Trail hiking path. Discover beautiful vistas at Sunrise Point, Sunset Point, Bryce Point and Inspiration Point. Once you’ve had a day of scenic views, retire to one of the many hotels advertised on Bryce Canyon.

Amalfi Coast, Italy:

Italy has many stunning coastlines – however, the Amalfi Coast is one of the best. Located within Southern Italy, the Amalfi Coast is popular due to its picturesque sheer cliffs, rugged shoreline, small but beautiful beaches, and pastel-colored fishing villages. As soon as you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with Italian/Mediterranean landscape and architecture; also, if you wish to explore further afield, Sorrento is nearby and full of vineyards, lemon groves and
magnificent villas to stay in if you please. Continue your travels and catch a ferry to Capri, a nearby island, and explore the designer stores while taste-testing all the gelato you can find.

Athens, or the Greek Islands, Greece:

The whole of Greece is amazing to explore, and when you look online to fine the ideal destination, choosing one place won’t be easy. During the summer, you’ll be welcomed by warmth and sun, and there are endless beaches to relax and unwind on while your children build sand castles. It’s easy to get around the Greek Islands, so you can visit more than one. Santorini and Mykonos are the most popular, but there are many more to explore. For a vacation steeped in history, explore Athens, where MomAboard’s Mombassador can help you explore the Parthenon, the Acropolis, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
