We know and thank the heavens for thoughtfully designed airports like Changi, but every once in a while, a smaller, lesser known airport stops us in our tracks. Recently it was Tallinn’s Lennart Meri Airport in Estonia. The airport has everything you could want – cute shops, eateries, sleep pods, and a host of entertainment options! It’s clean, convenient and cosy! I almost wish we had more time there. It’s no wonder that it was ranked 3rd best airport in Europe and 9th in the world. Pretty good for a city with a population of 400,000 people.
